Default Fraud callers

Very often we come across people who have disclosed there personal information to callers posing as their bankers. How do we catch hold of such people because most of these numbers are private and cannot be easily traced.

I did have the same problem as you're, aspire.

One of the method that I usually use is whenever the cell phone showing the "Private number", I won't even care to pick it up, as I know this is 99% another scammers...

Several phone companies do have such a feature, however sometimes these scammers are clever and have special numbers that aren't traced easily. And often real companies will sell your info to other companies and you'll often get calls about promotions and such that often ask for some personal data. These calls usually sound very legit as they know a good amount of info about you, but that's probably because another company you deal with sold your info, so it's best to avoid these offers as you don't know what their true intentions are.

Typical, its ok for your Dad to lie about his identity, but you want the collector to be honest. Perhaps they said its related to... because as far as they know they are not actually speaking to your Dad, although my guess is they know its him from previous conversations. Your Dad can put in writing to the collector a request to stop calling his place of business and they have to comply.
I live in Florida and our law states:
A debt collector may not use false statements, such as falsely implying that they are attorneys, that you have committed a crime, or that they operate or work for a credit bureau or misrepresenting the amount of your debt, the involvement of an attorney in collecting a debt, or indicating that papers sent to you are legal forms when they are not.
