This is a hoax .
And if its there also no one will use it, risking their life.
Under such a stressfull time you cant reverse ur pin number.
Internet helps in both creating awareness and spreading false news and this is one belonging to second category

Default Thieves are ahead of the game usually

This is kind of silly! I don't even see how this is going to work in the first place even if it were true. Think of all the false alarms that could be set off by using this technique. I think it might be a good idea to have a secret code that would set off an alarm, but if this were in place, the thieves are going to know about this tactic and they will kill you if you try it.

I agree it sounds good now. But if you are ever there in a bank robbery first of all your mind is going to freeze up so you wont even know what your pin number is in reverse.. also if your standing up they run in with the guns.. not good things will happen.

Although the idea may be a good one, I feel that ATM's should have panic buttons. Not to call the police, but to alert special cameras that are set in certain areas, to start recording so that nothing is missed. Of course the panic buttons would have to be placed in a location where a thief could not see it being touched, or maybe your pin number with a few extra digits past it could serve as something to start the cameras.

My ATM card is a 6 digit PIN. Under such circumstance, I don't think I can reverse the PIN easily. I might as well dole out some amount rather risking my life. Anyway the ATM card I bring with me contains minimal amount.

Hey there is no such kind of security measure. Whosoever has told you this has actually fooled you. Please beware because you might end up blocking up you card.
