The Number of Fake Calls is on the increase and I was surprised how quick people give there details.

My friend showed me just for experimental purposes how easy it was to get someone elses card. He pretended to be from Barclays and got all there details. Of course he didnt spend with it :P!

Well if you go and try to scam an old lady of course it is not going to be to hard as there not going to ask to many questions...

Hey, did you see this Fake Caller - Type A Message .. Computer Synthezied Voice Calling, it can be used to call someone with facility of choosing voice of your choice and caller id that you would like to display. Isn't this ridiculous? What's a need of this? Then there is a notice:
They say that we are not allowed to use the Free service for any illegal purpose... so you can PM them for paid service if you are interested in any illegal means

Ive worked in a call centre before, cold calling about a phone service. We needed bank details to complete the sale, suprisingly i found that the easiest were females in there mid 20's-30's, probably because i could talk to them more easier.

The older people (no offence) were more reluctant to give any credit card details out etc and always wanted to talk to someone about it first.

I have checked this but how someone can do this and can snatch someone's identity . There is need of interaction between caller and representative .

This is pretty scary. I won't be giving my personal information to anyone that calls. I avoid telemarketers anyway.

I wouldn't give my details to anyone without verifying the phone numbers. If I smell something fishy, I'd call them personally on the number provided on their website or catalogue.

Yeah!Now a days there is a rise on fake calls.And the most calls will be from the telemarketers or for loan purposes.And they keep us calling till we make up with them.

But one is not supposed to divulge the persoanl details to any caller - the banks clearly spell this that they are never going to call their customers for any confidentail information.

Well i `ve recently received a fake call from my banking company so i immediately reported it to both my bank and police and i`m waiting for the results.I `m very luck that i did not give any information about my identity.
