I always thought that bluetooth had some type of technology that made it un-piratable because the limit of its range.

i agree bluetooth should be switched off when not in need...it can be risky and we could get infected by viruses..

Viruses do creep into your communication systems during usage of Bluetooth but aren't there any software programs which may help in ensuring safe usage of bluetooth?

yeah man...some pple make use of bluetooth to send virus too...i seldom on my bluetooth unless i need to send files or anything

Thats a very old trick and everybody knows it now.Every wireless connection has some security issues because of the general access.
