who will end the paypal's monopoly?

Paypal, although is the market leader in online money transferring and have been doing good business and service, they enjoy a monopoly like situation in this front. Even google's checkout could not check them out. Why is this happening. Who do you think would at least near paypal in terms of reach and service, etc.?

I don't think anyone will beat them but I think if there was one who actually had the potential to do it, I'd say Moneybookers or E-Gold. Hard to choose between the two.

I would say that google checkout had a great opportunity to reach the topspot of paypal, but unfortunately they could not even reach the halfway stage of it and heard that they are going to wound up their services soon, not sure how true it is, though.

It would be wise for them to stop Checkout. They're just losing money with it.
This is one competitor they can't beat, unless they buy them out of course.

I dint know who, but i hope nobody will defeat them. I cant imaging if paypal close without pay anythings to us.
