Rep Power: 2 ![]() | A person is sending me Wire Transfer for some services he got from me but his bank asks for IBAN but my bank doesn't provide such thing? I have also received Wire Transfer in past but it never required such thing, is this something new implemented?

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | IBAN is something that has been implemented to facilitate wire transfer.IF you do not have it then you can give your account number and the swift code of your bank. That's how it works at my local bank. They use both IBAN and Swift code. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Ah ok, Thanks for your answer. Also I read in an article just now that IBAN is used in Europe only and I am in Asia. Ok, If I give simple account number, it will be same thing.. Gonna try it now..Thanks once again..
