No specific number but you'll need to submit your site to directories which have a good PR for yor blogs to get a google PR(good one)

OR wait for a months and keep good content on your site and it will increase in 3 months or so

You PR is based on how many backlinks (sites that link to you) exist. Submit your blogs to numerous directories (there are even services that will do this for you) and advertise your blogs yourself (in your signature on forums and and your myspace etc.)....put links to your site wherever you can and make sure that your site is of value for somebody to read!

Your Page Rank is determined not only by the number of backlinks, but by the quality of the backlinks. For example, you may have 1,000 backlinks from PR0 pages and have a PR0 or PR1, but if you have a few backlinks from PR5 or PR6 pages you can easily have a PR4 or PR5 yourself.

This is just a general guideline not an exact method or science. Just remember that the higher the PR of a page that links to you the more valuable it is in contributing to your own PR. It is also important that your backlinks come from relevant pages. If you are promoting a real estate site try to get links on other real estate related sites.

It all depend on the number of links pointing to your sites, their pr and the content of your websites.
In my opinion I think that updating your site quite often also help. This is true specially for blogs.

While pagerank is directly proportionate to the amount of backlinks you have, what matters is the quality of the backlink itself.

According to Google, links coming from sites with a higher pagerank would be considered a more quality link compared to links coming from a site with a lower pagerank. (Though, it's possible that the link coming from a higher ranked site may not be of a higher value compared to a link from a lower ranked site, given that a higher ranked site has so any links in it that it lowers the value of a particular link.)
