    PR passing from subdomain redirect

    Hey everyone,

I have a domain, which I recently found has a dominate site linking to it. The site which is linking has a PR of 8, and also about 40 or so pages with a PR of 7.
This was a nice surprise to find. The problem is, they all link to a subdomain which I no longer have. (Unfortunately the site linking to me is no longer updated, so I can't get these links fixed).
If I were to setup a permanent redirect from the subdomain to the main site, would this pass on the PR? Thanks for all the help.

301's will typically pass PR value. So set them up that way. Your best approach is a wild card dns entry and an htaccess file to redirects 404's to the home page with a 301 redirect. That way, everything catches
