Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Does identity theft really happen that often? I can only think of one person I know in real life who had their credit card details stolen a couple of years ago. I don't know anyone at all that has had full blown identity theft happen to them. Sometimes I wonder if the insurance services aren't exaggerating the problem to get us all scared. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | Over 10 million people a year are victim at an average cost per victim of $7k+ in the United States. When you run the math, 10 million out of 300 million people isn't a lot in terms of percentage but when it happens to you, I guess it just feels like a lot. |
