I get what you mean. The image that you put in your yahoo ID and that they say it will lessen phishing attacks and identity theft. I've used it but I still can't understand how it can prevent Identity theft.

I believe you guys are talking about the turning number?
It does help identity theft to some extent as it prevents bots from hacking into your account.

I think that Yahoo mail stores a cookie on your computer and display the pics if you are on a genuine Yahoo mail log in page.
I think that this is a good initiative from Yahoo.

I am quite lost on this topic. What picture are you referring to? I think I have encountered a post like this on different category. I hope somebody will enlighten me about this topic.

What they meant is the image that you can put in when you log in to your account in Yahoo. It is a plus and you can see that Yahoo is doing everything they can to further protect their users.

they do save your cookies but i usually delete most of my cookies, people can get your information with those as well.
