i wish i knew that for sure, but its usually from ebay, paypal, your credit card online info, or even forum profile, anything with an email, they have people that collect those stuff.

And I guess they even pay those people to get those emails, right? You can see in this occasion that they make a living out of scamming others of their hard earned cash. Makes you wish you could grab them by the neck and...

i guess they pay them for the info but they could do it themselves and save money, thats what people do

Spending all that time trying to locate and get emails just to spam and scam people. Do they also use some kind of softwares for getting emails? I think they should ban those types of softwares as well.

who should ban them from where? there is nothing much anyone can do these days. They either do it manually or from gather them from sources that contain these.

That is pretty crazy my friends mom recieved the exact same letter with slightly different writing in the mail but only it asked her to fill in a ton of personal information so she just decided to throw it out.
