Default Did an online job, have a question.

I did an online job for a guy a while ago. He paid me $100.oo USD each month.
Months after I stopped working there, he emails me asking for my Tax ID, SSN and home address.
I'm not sure if I should trust giving him this information.
I tried Googling him to see if anything suspicious would come up but all I could find was content created by him.

Should I give him my information? What else can I do to find out if he's legitimate?

Why does he need it now that you have stopped working for him? Either way I am just advising not to give it. Smells kind of scammy.

It does, doesn't it? He needs it now because tax time is right around the corner.
