Rep Power: 1 ![]() | How are they doing this without the kid's Social Security numbers? If the parents are already claiming them they can't be claimed twice. You need a SS# now to claim children. How is this possible anymore?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | All children when born are issued with a social security number and parents automatically claim for their child, a child can not be claimed for twice. I have heard of stories where people have claimed for children who are deceased, I am not sure how they go about it but there was a large story in our newspaper not long ago about this happening. I do know for a fact and one mother who I speak to at the school has told me that she has 3 children who are living in Poland, she has 2 here in Ireland and she is claiming for all 5 here in Ireland. Her other 3 children live with her parents and they visit often. |
