Why paypal customer service so slow?

I have had many instances where when i tried to ask a question thru paypal's contact form, i hardly get any replies at all, even if i get it i get it very late, sometimes it will take weeks to reply to a simple question. why is it happening to such a big concern? Is it only for me or everyone experiences this?

This is one of the biggest drop back in PayPal after its high fee. I also think that PayPal needs to improve their customer care service as they had been dropping back in this field which is not for their company.

I think PayPal customer care is slow because thy have less man power and lots of work which is effecting there efficiency.

paypals problem is, too much coming in then what they can handle.

It doesnt help none either that they dont upgrade either, meaning add more reps or anything else to go with how big that company has gotten.

yes I agree. Paypal is a little bit slow on its custmer services.. I mean they are a big INTERNATIONAL company.. Why don't they hire some cheap labour in China or somewhere!?

Well, i dont know if paypal is a slow in responding , but i remind you ... there are millions of members using paypal , so i think everyday , day by day they are getting more and more complains and e-mails , though they are trying their best to give the feedback. as i have noticed i didnot have any problem while contacting paypal

Not only slow, their customer service is horrible. They used to hide their telephone number and only provided support via form emails...
but what i heard..that they intentionally make the phone number very difficult to find in order to save costs.

Before 3 years or so, the Paypal service is wonderful. It is really fast. But today, it is completely opposite. I think the reason behind this may be the increase in the number of customers. Their service demand may require more staffs to handle in the present scenario.

I don't agree with you all that Paypal service is too slow. Because of wide acceptance all over the world , it takes little time sometime but still I bet this is one of the fastest pp online.
