What is the difference between a business/premier and a personal account?

Other than the transaction fees that paypal charges for business/premier accounts, what other differences are there between a business/premier and a personal paypal account?

Fees is not deducted in the personal account whereas fees is deducted in the premier/business account . Apart from the fees , the personal and premier accounts also have a difference in the available merchant tools . Premier accounts can setup subscription links whereas personal account cannot .

Premier/business accounts have the following features that normal accounts do (in terms of features):
-more available eBay tools
-more available merchant services
-allows for you to implement subscriptions and recurring payments on your site
-you get to set up a paypal debit/credit card [to access funds in your paypal account]
-mass payment to numerous people
-multiple logins for different people
-full time staff support

Thanks for the information. That was very useful.
I'm slightly bothered by the last point though.
Does that mean people holding personal accounts do not get full time staff support?

well its more of a wait, you do have support, but premier and business accounts get responses a little faster, i have premier, had to upgrade from personal because of credit card payment limitations

Oh I see now. Thanks for the information, I guess when my business starts to take off, I might upgrade to a premiere account. Are there any other qualifications to apply for such accounts on paypal?

thnx for the info guys . I myself has a premier account as I once upgraded it to premier from personal so as to accept a CC funded payment .

I think you have to have verified your account to be able to apply for a premier one, but I'm not certain about that.

I upgraded to a permier account so I could accept card payments, much like Jason. I regret it now though, as I take a lot of small payments, and the fees really mount up fast.

There are different incentives that you can have if you are a business account user. PayPal will definitely consider your cases first when you experience problems.

Personal paypal account can only receive 6 credit card payments in an year and the fees to accept those is higher. Premier account can accept credit card payments and fees is lower in this case.
