Verification is an important step in ensuring the safety of your account, and of the PayPal system. Unverified members have limits as to how much they can send with PayPal, and may not be able to take advantage of many PayPal benefits, including Seller Protection and Buyer Protection.

I believe verified means that you have your credit card or bank account information on file. You've verified who you really are.

Verified users have larger limits on the incoming and withdrawn amounts. while unverifies accounts are many-a-times frozen by paypal for no reason at all.

im not verified and people still pay me, and I still pay people, I jsut dont wontt o give out my cc info online.

Really? Its paypal will close our accaunt in paypal if we not verified our accaunt? I'm afraid about that and hope nothing wrong happen at my accaunt today.

Additional:

If you have a verified Paypal account and you are from the US, you can get the debit card. You can withdraw your money from any atm machines. It's super convenient to have one.

Verified means that you can have almost limitless transcations whereas unverified has sever restrictions on amout of transaction. Typically to the order of 50$

Verified users are nothing but those who have added their credit card to paypal for transactions. It will always be advisable and good to transact with verified members as they are real to deal with and the cheating rates will be less compared to nonverified.

For me if we want to deal with someone, we look at their paypal verification is it true or its become scamming me. If they verified than we know that they are not a scammer

I would definitely be a nonverified member rather than being a verified because i have a fear whether paypal will start deducting money from my credit card without my knowledge or charge me more when i verify using my credit card.
