Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I am unverified because of a glitch that occurred when I went to verify. Visa occasionally has problems due to my current address - I have a PO box, and the post office returns any mail sent to my street address. If prompted I will put down both addresses, many places refuse a PO box address. The time Paypal tried to verify, Visa would not accept the order of PO box versus street address. Paypal claims they tried twice, and since Visa rejected it both times, I can not ever use that card or that account, therefore I can not ever be verified. Seems so ridiculous to me that even after several years of using Paypal without problems, the card can not be verified. I can see a time limit, say 6 months to a year, in which a card/account could not be used for verification after it has been denied. That would help keep abuse down. But a year or more? If a card is stolen and you have not notified your company for over a year - there's something wrong with you, not the company! |
