Rep Power: 2 ![]() | I lost $150 few days before while I was selling egold. He dint get the egold though as I reported him and the account was blocked. But I lost the $150 from my acount. PayPal has been failed in protecting their customers from looking money! He made a reversal...by the bank. I hate these shits! |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | I stand to be corrected, but to the best of my knowledge, paypal does not allow online currency exchanges. In fact, one of my friend's paypal account got frozen for 6 months for doing a similar transaction to yours. Perhaps that is the reason why you didn't get your money back? In any case, I think your thread title is rather misleading. It's the counterparty to the transaction who scammed you, not paypal. |

| Member | You know what's funny / sad. I work in the industry and in fact have worked closely with many of their fraud folks and yet only a month ago, I personally lost $70. There was nothing I could really do. I figured just not worth the effort in fighting it. I guess a lot of people fall into that category. |
