Paypal is based in the US, therefore you can not transfer money to online gambling sites! In the US it's illegal to gamble online, that's why you have to go through a offshore account!

Paypal is just covering their bases. The law is stupid, though. They attached it to a homeland security law, so congressmen had to cover it.

just because it is illegal in united states .. but other countries have permissions on playing poker online through pay pal . this would have made the casino owners to bare a reduction in their profit
