I got this in my mail tonight. Saw the title and immediately thought it was a scammer trying to get my information. Really, would PayPal misspell "error"?

Here is the letter:

Is this legit?

This is definitely an older PP scam NEVER open these emails or even respond to them. PP never corresponds through email.

But Paypal won't send you any email regarding to your account and also they will never ask you to login using any link provided in email. Also see the typo in email header, do you expect this from paypal?

When I say respond through email, I mean as far as telling you to login repeatedly and check your acct info.

No. My inbox.
email address are easily spoofed. IF you know how check the headers and in there you should be able to find the actual address.

Report this email to paypal and they may ask you to forward it to them.

You did the right think though checking about it first.
