Yes, PayPal is secure. Be aware that when verifying they only ask for your credit card information, nothing like SSN or anything.

Although paypal is considered safe by paypal. You also need to remember if you ever call tech support, they do outsource support from India and sometimes do ask for your SSN. I have heard on case of a support rep stealing a users identity. It probably is an isolated case but you never know.

Paypal is secure enough to protect you and your money but you have to be very careful when you login your account.So many scammers use keyloggers or something similar to steal your password.Maybe paypal can use virtual keyboard to avoid this issue.

yes is very secured... so far nv come to any problems about hacking or negative comments about paypal

Paypal is secured you can see on their page its SSL page. I dont feel worry with paypal security.

its complete safe to use . paypal is highly secured . Only if you click through some phishy links then your account may get hacked.... Paypal is Highly secure AGAIN...

Though it is secure, phishing attack makes it unsecure. Just rem. never mention your cc to the mails asking for your personal details even though it seems to be from paypal.

Well there are different types of phishing attack for the paypal user but still I think it is secured because if the user is careful, his account is safe. Simply don'y give ur username n pass to anyone...
