Paypal limited access

Has anyone run into this problem with Paypal? They seem to pull it when you have money in your account, and they suddenly want all kinds of identity documentation from you. I don't have a problem providing it, but it takes them forever to restore your access. I have heard they pull this to keep your money longer and draw interest on it.

They randomly flag people all the time. Verification shouldn't be a problem though if it truly is you and your account you're using.
It protects people from scams.

I am sure that they make a lot of money by doing this as some people for a variety of reasons are unable to verify their accounts afterwards.

When you say for people who have money in their account, you must mean large amounts right? I once had around 250.00$ and they never asked me for proof of identity.

They have asked me to prove my identity and i`ve faxed my credit card statement and utility bill so everything back to normal in a very fast time.They are very good at this kind of situation.

It might not be that easy for those who are not paying all the utilities on their own.

verification process are necessary to avoid bogus users to hang out with. but those procedures must be simple and be easier for the user. All people want is to have their bucks as soon as possible without much delay. It will prove bad if the perceptions about their money rendering scam is proved....

If you have verified your account with your credit card, then there is no problem. But, nowadays many are verifying their account only with the Virtual credit card. If, they are verifying so with this VCC, they will be unable to send back the credit card statement to paypal and it is very hard to get their money from paypal.

Yse if they use vcc to verify their accounts there can be a problem under this situation.You can get vcc`s from real banks not from people who you dont know.It is also better to use vcc on the internet
