Default Paypal Fraud..

although the scam i am talking about is about a year old..never the less..i feel its good to make others aware..

on ebay around a year back i bought a laptop and paid for it via paypal and then later the guy never shipped the item(600$)..the laptop was an alienware designware and the feedback was also good!

the thing is he was a professional con..and then i filed a claim with paypal for a full claim..and know what? i just got 175$ return because the paypal guys said his account was having only that much account before closing it..

you have to be careful...after that i usualyl buy only from powersellers...and with very high positive feedback...

This has a paper trail so the culprit could be tracked down especially if he or she is a verified Paypal account holder. Why not request the information from Ebay and Paypal?

Hi.If he was a professional con then he would have not verified the account out of fear of getting caught. So is there any other way to get money back from a scammer???

Yes thats the disadvantage of trusting people on e-bay.Nowadays there are so many issues like this you have to deal with powersellers as mentioned above.
