Paypal exchange legal?

hey guys i want to know is exchanging paypal cash for cheques/demand draft/cash is legal in the eyes of paypal? Actually i was cheated by a person for exchanging my paypal for cheque, so i started a dispute and thinking of escalating a claim, so i wanted to know whether its legal to exchange paypal cash for cash, cheques or demand draft, i m not asking about exchanging it for egold, liberty reserve or any other!

I think if paypal or another provider could facilitate an inter network exchange, this would be incredibly popular and truly make online payments a global medium.

Paypal exchanges are completely illegal! It states in Paypal's terms of conditions, I recommend you take a read!

Paypal exchange is not allowed. This is against the terms and conditions set by Paypal. I have read from other post on this forum that his friend was found to be guilty on this and he was sued.

This should be a warning to all of us.

Paypal exchanges are not allowed so if you were part of it, you can't get money back by making dispute. And, it can even backfire coz they might block your account for doing illegal thing.

As the admin puts it it would make a way for virtual currency exchange , currency dealing and literally virtual banks

Paypal does not like cuurency exchanges and if somebody scams you while this you have no warranty for getting your money back.

is illegal... don't think ur dispute will be successful... however it is fine if u want to exchange secretly...

Yea its illegal, and its a very common scam, and if you do get scammed there is no way paypal can tell.
