Rep Power: 0 ![]() | No, google tried, amazon is trying, e-gold tried. They all failed. Even ebay tried to beat paypal in its day with BillPoint but failed. That said, for most people, the fees are pretty reasonable unless you are in a small country. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | The challenge is that any service has to start with 1 user and by the nature of the service, it's only as strong as it's member base, so for anyone to come out any point afterwards would have a challenge as so many already use paypal. Even Google tried to offer services for $0 and it still had a challenge but paypal and google checkout are two different beast. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I haven't been charged 10% for getting payment. They only charge a percentage of payment (about 5%) + 30 cents, when you get credit card payments, in case your account is free. Usually you receive payments without being charged, unless it's funded with a credit card. |
