paypal charge too much?

i belive paypal charge far too much for transactions. When transfering anything under $5 its not worth it as paypal takes a bit chunk of it

I belive other companys need to put pressure onpaypal to reduce thier prices by reducing thir own prices ( IE moneybookers, eGold , google check out.)

Anyone agree?

Well you knew about the fees when signing up for that account. You should have stuck with the personal account.

I don't mind the fees. If it takes them taking a few cents from me so I can do business online, I'm okay with it.

The fees aren't much though.

I think they charge too much, but everyone is using it so I'm pretty much stuck. Lol.

No one had to accept the upgrade to a business account. Everyone could have kept their personal account and not pay the fees. We all chose it.

You can create another account and keep it as a personal account. PayPal entitles each person to have two accounts.

you should always use the "Personal" account and don't accept credit/debit

That option of creating two accounts seems a bit idiotic to me. Just stick with the one and deal with the fees.

PayPal is convenient and widely accepted by many doing business and purchasing online, so I just deal with the fees. It is just another part of doing business.

Yeah, I agree the charges are big high, particularly for personal account holders like me. Premier account do have low charges, but I don't consider worthy for my use.
