Default PayPal Availability

PayPal is not yet available in our country got no ideal when will Paypal be available to us. I wonder why is it Paypal is very strict in opening their business doors to other country. Does being a 3rd world country affects the decision of paypal to broaden their business?

They restrict it because the fastly growing scammers in third world countries.. nothing against you.. but ya. Also they have to make it secure there and i am sure there is a lot they have to do to make it work properly with your bank accounts and such.

It is sad that you aren't able to do this, but as said, many people from 3rd World Countries constantly hack and it is a safetly precaution.

If I am not mistaken, I think that some of PayPals service providers have something to do with it too. PayPal relies on other services like Mastercard, Visa and Banking services in order to operate. So PayPal also has terms they must follow as well, and some of these services forbid certain countries.

It would be damaging considering most of the scams come from other countries than the us. I am not talking bad, but it's the truth. Paypal will have no part in that kind of stuff!

One reason is the technical aspect. Another is the marketing aspect. If your country is not yet Ebay enabled, it may still take time to open its doors to your country. Paypal basically is a US based company and it may have preference to countries with strong ties with US.

Well, third world countries don't usually have the funds to support their account so I think it would affect PayPal more if they did accept them.

Try to create a Paypal campaign. In some countries, they were able to convince Paypal to open their payment processor service with limited functionalities. This is better than having no Paypal presence at all.
