Default No Credit Card on transactions under $5.00

I don't know if this is new or something but I noticed this which didn't appear to be there before. I went to send funds and while there was funds in the paypal account, wanted to use an echeck. The transaction was under $5 and when I went to do an echeck, I notice the credit card option wasn't there. While I imagine it's because it probably cost $0.30 to process that $5 transaction, that's the reason, I have to ask is that really the case. Any feedback on this?

I have recently received an echeck payment of less than $5 and it was less than a week ago so I don't think this option was removed. May be it was temporarily unavailable?

I'm happy that credit card payments for transactions under $5.00 aren't available anymore. It's quite annoying to receive small payments with credit card, you almost lose all the money you received covering PayPal fees.
