Unhappy How much time?
I have filed a chargeback on a seller to whom I had made an advance payment but he never delivered me anything.

How much time will it take to get the things settle down? This is my first ever chargeback and I am afraid of loosing money if the seller doesn't respond.

Is it true that PayPal will help me in getting my money back? I have $250 at stake.

It will be at least twenty days if the other party doesn't respond.

Oh..that seems a very long time. But is it for sure that I'll be getting my money back? The seller has not delivered me anything till now. He is not even responding to my emails.

Yes, you can surely get your money back incase the seller fails to show the proof (either duplicate). If he produces any thing, then it will take even more time to settle in this...
You have to wait, no other go for you...

I haven't made any charge back yet but I read in some forum,it may take around 15 days to 2 months to settle the chargeback dispute.

Sometimes it even takes 2 months to settle the issue. I have seen this in the past, it really saps one time and money....

There is no time limit. It depends on the type of deal and the trader completely.

Why don't user state the results after their case is resolved ? Updating back will certainly help others.
