Default Downgrading to Personal Account

If someone has a Premier Business Paypal account, then can he downgrade it to personal paypal account? If yes then how? Also is there any harm in doing so?

Yes, you can downgrade your PayPal account, but you can do it just once.
You can find out how in this page: PayPal Help Center: Downgrading

yeah its true
you can do it once

since paypal allows you to have 1 personal and 1 business/premier account, you should just sign up a new personal acct.

I actually wanted to ask this too. If I open a new account (personal), do I need another credit card to verify it?

You will have to have a new credit card to verify a new account, since you can only use a credit card once for each account. If you try to use it to verify a second account it will give you an error and tell you the card is already in use on another account. Believe me, I already tried.

You can instead create a new account.Verification is not that necessary.Have a verified business account and an unverified personal account.

It is possible to downgrade your account, but only once not more than that. So, please think twice before downgrading your account. I strongly recommend you to create one new personal instead of this downgrading.

agreed, I can one personal account and a business account.
For tranfer of money from my friends, I use the personal one as it is free of charge on receiving.
For business deal, a business account is used.
