I don't know much about clickbots, but I do know that there are still people out there who are paying others to intentionally click on their ads, which constitutes click fraud.

But I dont think that can be prevented.

I mean they cant check every click, that risk lies with the advertiser.
I'd say: Take it or leave it.

It includes all the ways of getting illegal clicks like group clicks etc. Also it includes intentional clicks where the clicker want the publisher to be banned or wants to increase the costs of adwords so that the advertiser is not able to afford the adwords he wants to.

I think it's cheating, but I think a lot of people end up getting in trouble with this method. Can't you get banned for click abuse? What if someone wants to sabotage your site?

I think its cheating and nothing else. Fake traffic in my eyes is not right.
