Default Requests from random people

You should be wary of friend requests from random people, often it's either a spammer, scammer or both.

They usually use a random image of a model or good looking female in order to get people to accept their request and usually copy the profile of someone else. I find it sort of funny how some people actually think the profile is real and begin to flirt with them. It goes to show how misinformed some people are...

i accept all the add requests I receive. If you suspect them of being spammers, simply go to your account settings and filter them out.
Approve all comments before actually posting it live on your profile, don't allow html, etc.

well, i dont find anything wrong with accepting a strangers friendship request...if she starts talking about meeting up, thats where i stop. if if your trying to find "love" over the internet, that's your business. i wouldnt suggest it though.

I'm wary of anyone that finds me on those types of sites. That usually means they have alot of time on their hands and they are searching for something to get into. I make sure everything is private cause the only people I want on my page are people I haven't seen in awhile. If I see you everyday or speak to you all the time it's pointless for me to have you on my page.

I only accept requests from people i know. Makes no sense to me accepting a strangers request. Too many crazies online to take time to filter them out.

The best way, don't accept the friends request from the anonymous user. But on the serious note , I think Myspace should do something to ban this spammer like Yahoo did.

I second you. Myspace is no more what it is use to be previously.

This is one of the reason , I don't use Myspace anymore (sometimes) and had switched to facebook.

Default I doubt about one of my friends

Okay, my previous problem is solved. How? Just an account deletion for me, but away from the fake friends. It made me feel good and being on another Myspace account is always being a step ahead of the so called Malaysian girl.
