Recently the spam has increased a lot on myspace, you get so many bulletins filled with spam and so many friend requests, even from those who are no way associated with you. What can be done to prevent this?

I do not know how we can prevent that but this will only increase as the number of people selling bulletins are increasing a lot.

You can delete the friends or just tell them not to fall for these phishing "sign in" pages.

Yeah. By the time I check my myspace account, like once every two weeks, I do get a lot of friend requests from "This account has been canceled," with the big X on it.

Just post bulletins telling your friends to change their password if their account gets hacked.

It's that simple!!!

I have had a couple friends that got hacked and I helped them. I've kinda turned myself into the "protector" of my friends. They appreciate it.

All you have to do is change your password. They just phished it. Thy haven't changed any information.
