Default Tool for Computer Protection

What tools can we use to protect our computer from hackers? I don't know if a thing such as this exists.

There are a lot of free Firewals and Anti-Virus programs out there that will hep you protect yourself. Try Zone Alarm, or AVG for starters.

I use these two programs as well.
They are very popular programs which get rid of adware and spyware respectively.
BitDefender would be a good protection system to have as well, especially for those who find Norton to be too expensive.

Well the best tool is using your brains when downloading stuff.
Most virusses comes from downloading files that are likely to contain virusses but still they download them. Like cracks for games etc.

So TIP1:

- Buy your own games. ^^

Nah just kidding, be careful when downloading files Anti-virus software cannot solve all.

Yes, of course it's better to be safe than sorry, but I guess it doesn't hurt to have a little extra protection ya?
There are always instances whereby we may unknowingly get viruses and malwares in our computers, such as receiving files from friends.
