Can I get a refund from paypal, if ebay seller didnt send the product?

I am from outside usa, i bought a Digital Camera from a seller on ebay, i paid 325 dollars from my paypal to the sellers paypal account. After the payment ebay seller wont talk to me or not in IM, and i didnt received my digital camera, i tried to talk so many times but wasting of time. What i have to do now to get my money back, as i said i am outside usa, and the seller from USA.

of course you can have a chargeback..

ebay buyers are always protected from fraud

But paypal will deduct some % of the money for the chargeback.

You can *try* and get a refund. This happened to me once, and while I didn't get a full refund, I did get some of the money back. I wish you the best of luck, but there's a slight chance you won't get a full refund, despite the fact that you are entitled to it.

Well to avoid this in the immediate future better you check the background of your seller.This can avoid chargeback which take some money with it.

better buy from those users who have a good positive feedback and +30 trader atleast. Besides also check whether the user is verified paypal user or not. This may help one to avoid from being tricked.

I agree with all the advice given. It is important to protect yourself. Before bidding always check to ensure positive feedback for the seller. Make sure you have documentation of all communications between you and the seller. You should be able to present this evidence to paypal to increase the likelihood that your chargeback will be effective. Let us know how it turns out.

You should have better results since this is a real product and not a digital download or something of that nature. Ebay was sloppy in the past but they seem to be doing better.

This was a good suggestion that you put up here...dude…..hope that it benefits all the ones who land up here. Ebay was very helpful in getting the money back for me but you do sometimes have to deal with idiots.
