One option is Paypal. You can use its gateway to accept credit card payment on your site. You don't have to shell out anything if you choose its basic plan.

You can also tap Moneybookers or Asianpay. Like Paypal they are third party processors which offer their credit card payment gateway for free to merchants. They only collect a certain percentage of your online sales from using their credit card payment gateway.

In my opinion paypal is better than any other option for online transactions for merchant accounts as it is free to join and take a small part of your online sale

Paypal is good as long as you are not into adult related business or else you will get locked up and your money will be blocked.
