Xoom charges 18$ over and above the paypal`s 5$ fee for withdrawl. Its hell lot expensive that way.

XOOM is the best and fast way to send money.
Transaction fees are less and you can get your money within 20-25 minutes.

Why would anyone use a service that takes so long to process the transaction (30 days?), in today's economy that could be an eternity.

It is indeed true that xoom sends you money very fast thru whatever way you choose, in countries other than u.s. but only drawback is that their service charge is very high, around $8 per transaction.
