Default Overall Effect

To have lesser fraud cases, it is all in us to do our part. The credit card companies should provide better securities for their service, companies that accept credit cards should watch the people who manages such things, and the credit card owners should also be more aware and not too trusting to just easily give out their information. People are becoming more and more paranoid in making transactions online, which in the long run could also be a good thing as it would make them more aware and prepared for scammers and fraudulent individuals.

I definitely agree with you, if you are a victim of a scam; don't just get a chargeback and forget about the incident; try to share your experience with others. Report companies or individuals that did the frauds, give everyone the heads up so that these cases won't happen again.

getting a chargeback after the fraud is certainly not enough. u should spread the word about your experieces and get the company reported. thats the least u can do compared to the fraud thats happened to you.

I agree with all of you. We can get even with these scammers by reporting about their fraudulent transactions to authorities. By doing this, we can prevent other people from being a victim also. And these companies can stop from doing it.

There is so much fear while doing transactions online, any fraud must b reported and everyone doing stuff online should know. the companies ve to make sure they dont run into something like this. otherwise their reputation is sure to go to the dogs
