Default emails from scammers

me and my husband have had alot of emails from scammers. saying they have loads of money, but needs us to release the funds in there country etc. we still get emails now. anyone else have this?

That's been going on for over a decade. It goes to a lot of free email providers such as Hotmail or if you release your email on the web these will get automated out to you.

These emails really annoy me. And the fact that they actually get people to fall for this crap is amazing. But I notice that it seems a lot of senior citizens fall prey, and that really sucks...

There is an email that you have inherites some amount(usually in billions) and you have to pay a certain fee to claim the amount.It is a total fraud. So beware users do not get tricked

The best thing to do is to strictly filter all of your email and to definitely not open it if an offer looks to be looming inside.

I saw a show where they have whole gangs of people in African internet cafes just trolling the internet to produce such scams.

its i think known as 419 scams in UK and US...typically these are nigerians or based in southh africe and go on about how they have tons of millions and later when u contact them they will say u need to pay around 3000$ to release it or as fees..then bham//

they are gone..and so is the money..reald old scams in emails etc...

There was a sting setup at a hotel outside JFK airport in NYC. The police took down a small ring leader when he attempted to walk out of the hotel room with a suitcase full of nothing.
