When ever I buy a large item from ebay I always get in contact with the seller. (I do a lot of business with ebay.) I have bought 3 laptops and 5 printers off ebay. I always make sure that there is a phone number before I bid. Out of 200 transactions with ebay I only had 1 bad experience. (He did not send product which only cost me about $7.00.)

well... you see.. i dont know what the friend did ;] he's kinda old maybe he couldn't think off to check out the details and stuff :] but... there are experiences when sellers accounts get hijacked and then hijackers just take the money for the goods.

Well, if you fell like you get ripped, better file a chargeback and get of full refund or product replacement.
