Default Amex Merchant Account

I have known some issues regarding this Amex Merchant Account. A member complained about the mistake committed by Amex. Her account was closed due to fraud transactions she never made. Due to this, almost 90% of the amount on her account was taken by Amex.

I think this is another fraud scheme. Does anybody heard of any problems with Amex such as this? This should serve as a warning to everyone.

This is the very first place where i heard about something about them . I think there will be some misunderstanding and problem should be solved . All Merchants hold all amount or more often disputed amount but it doesn't mean that all you money will be gone .

Where were you able to read this news? What happened to the case later on. I really think that AMEX should have just frozen her account instead of taking 90% of her funds.
