Default Traffic exchange

I'm just curious if you have been joining traffic exchange program for your site promotion. One program is manual traffic exchange and autosurf. I personally join these programs just for page impressions.

If you have AdSense on the page do not use it as it is against their TOS

Yes, a traffic exchange will get you banned from adsense in a heart beat, the same goes with web rings I believe!

I wouldn't do that because often the traffic click on the ads and what not and Google sees it as fraudulent.

I think whatever doesn't cost you money is the best route.

OP's are correct in not using Google Adsense on these pages you are putting into traffic exchanges. However, there are plenty of places that do allow this type of traffic, they just don't normally pay as well.

Have you heard of the PayPerPlay advertising network that is supposed to go live on Feb.1st? They have no issues with using their stuff on these exchanges according to their FAQ. Possible moneymaker there, though I don't know how long they will float like that.

well tracffic exchange is even more good if you join 3-4 at a time and with different times on auto rotation say two 10 sec ones and two 20 second ones...this will befool analytics about the pageviews and time spent on the page.

Don't even try to join this kind of traffic exchange websites if you have adsense on your website. This is violet adsense's rules. But if you are looking for promote your products and services, then this might be helpful.
