Proxy Site Get Traffic Easier than other niche

I have read many post here (DP) about proxy site making money and traffic from Google
I am just wondering is it so easy ? Does proxy get traffic easier than other niche ?
Also how is the traffic quality ? I think it is not good so the adsense pay out will at lower level.
any advice?

It depends. Like any other websites, proxy sites require promotion. The good thing about having a proxy site is that you don't need a content. One drawback is that it is resource intensive which requires you to host on a VPS or a dedicated server.

For a successful proxy site, you have to target your promotion to potential users. Mostly, these are social networking site users which need a proxy site to bypass their firewalls. I would like also to mention countries which block porn related web sites.

A proxy site does not need regular contents. What it needs is a good server administration because it is resource intensive. A proxy site only needs good promotion in various social networking sites where potential proxy site users are found.

I own 9 proxy websites.

I think the traffic comes pretty easy.

All you have to do is get it stumbled a few times, a few diggs, tell some kids that go to school, and you are set.

I get a lot of traffic via google too.

There seems to be quite the trend growing with proxy websites. OP is correct that if you can get word to kids in your community about your proxy site, you will see traffic. There is a lot of potential but I'm afraid the proxy market is going to become saturated.

The payout really depends on your keyword I guess.
There are a few smart proxy site owners that have an actual website up and include a proxy within the content so the site is actually quality.
