Earning from Google Adwords

I'm quite familiar with Google Adsense as one revenue source for webmasters. How do you earn from Google Adwords if you don't have your personal services or products to promote? Is there a success story in using Adwords for promoting your affiliate programs?

With AdWords you earn money by spending money. You pay AdWords to promote your site in the search engines, etc. and more visitors will go to your site causing revenue to skyrocket by the traffic and AdSense.
