Personally , I believe sitemaps are very important part of a site for better indexing .
So , I was just wondering what you people have to say about it ? Every opinion counts .

uh...most sites have sitemaps lol, xml is the best format to use because it is easily read by bots than other forms. i use it for my google webmasters account.

Yes I agree with Neil that site maps are very important part of a site for better indexing.A site map is a graphical representation of the architecture of a web site.A site map is an XML file that lists URLs for a site along with additional meta data about each URL .

Whenever build a website my first think to do is making a sitemap.Sitemaps are very useful for your page to be indexed by search engines.

Well for Wordpress their are usually some plugins that will make a sitemap

I agree with you that site maps are very important for better indexing. This also improves your page rank and hence bring more traffic to your site.
