 Site Ranking dropped after adding Google Analytics?
I'm not sure what is going on, but I'm not too happy.
On Feb 9th early in the morning sometime my site dropped from page 1 to page 5 for no apparent reason. We were ranked #7 and now #47 for a top 10 searched keyword.
The weird part was this, we recently had an offer on our website. The party wanting to buy asked if we could run Google Analytics, so we did.
After 4-5 days of running analytics the drop in rankings happened. Has anyone had a similar experience? Could Analytics have thrown a flag on my site for any reason? Is google just being crazy right now?
Our site does not use any illegal/suspicious way to increase rankings. I am completely confused and aggravated! |
