Default Google site description

I'm happy...In less than two weeks my site became the first on google for the domain name (some days ago was second).

My question is: where google take the description? Right now it shows the last few lines of my Wordpress page , wich means theme author and his sponsor

How does I change it ? META Tags? Does it exists a tool to do it on wordpress or is it better to do it by hand?

thanks for listening

They take it from your meta description. That's one of the first things you should have edited when you created your website.
Go into your, most likely, index file and search for "meta description". It's not far from the top. When you find it, edit it to your liking. Describe what your site is about. That will be the new description in the Google results.
