Hello,

I am new to Google Checkout and need some information.

Is the credit card required to signup for the Google Checkout or I can start with the unverified account like paypal on Google Checkout?

Credit card is required because that's how you will be doing all of your transactions, through your own credit card.

This means then that you can only transact with an accredited Google Checkout merchant unlike the case of Paypal which allows you to pay a Paypal account holder even if he or she is not a Paypal merchant.
