Google checkout international?

When do you think will Google checkout will go international?
I am fed up waiting for it as I am not from the USA.
Any news?

Well, I'm not from the US either and I would like to know as well.
Will it be anytime soon? IMHO, paypal has been allowed to throw its weight around for way too long.
They need some serious competition to ensure they improve their customer service.

Well, I think it's only a matter of time before google goes international.
I don't foresee it to be anytime soon though.
They are still struggling to find a platform for them to introduce checkout to the world market.

This could only be a good news for all the non us users out there.
I think that Paypal will be in serious trouble as soon as Checck out goes international.

I guess the problem google is facing is - paypal can survive on eBay transactions alone, but what can google checkout survive on?
Perhaps they can try offering payment via google checkout for adsense members, as mentioned in another thread.

I have read that Google checkout has been available for international users. Half of Google’s Checkout service has been offered to some countries outside US. This is good news for all. Hopefully this becomes available in our country the soonest possible time.

Yes, you are right indeed.
I just went to google checkout's site and realised that my country is actually in the approved list.
I'm going to sign up for an account with them, right after I get my debit card unblocked.

Actually , if you had tried to look for it then you must have realised that it been over a copule of months since google checkout went international . So , its available worldwide now . Enjoy !!

Well, I for one didn't know that google checkout was already available to the international members.
Perhaps that's because I don't really have a need for it now anyway.
