Default Google checkout

Google has launched its own payment processor. The address is https://checkout.google.com. This is can be used for shopping online. Anyone who has tried this? I have read from their site that account holders can earn $10 upon signing up.

I think anything with Google will mostly have a big success, but I think they still have to work for sometime to beat beat payapl.

If you wil sign up by the end of March 2007, you are entitled to a $10 bonus. I have not tried it myself . I did not find anything I like among its accredited online stores. Google Adsense should use Google Checkout as one payment option.

Hopefully , google checkout will give some fight to paypal who is currently the king as its being used by masses and regarding the 10$ bonus , I am not sure about this but I guess it was like spend 10$ to get these 10$ in your account.
Lets see how paypal reacts to this .

Google is very much active in anything that is online right now. I just hope that they will continue improving this Google Checkout cos I would rather trust them than paypal if they will come out on top. Maybe in a year or two.

Online stores which accept GoogleCheckout are still limited. Any idea on how to become a merchant account holder of Google CHeckOut? I could not seem to find the requirements on its site.

PLUS

They WILL NOT charge any fees till the end of this year i.e. 31 December 2007

So, use it until there's a small fee.

PayPal's fee is very high in comparison....lol
